I have been focusing a lot in my training to back to back long runs, the idea behind this is to program to work through tired legs. Last weekend I did 10 miles 3 days in a row and it felt great. For my racing goals it takes a lot of miles and getting comfortable.
Back to back long runs
- Take it easy and work the miles, lock into comfortable pace
- Bring fuel and learn to hydrate and gauge bonking trends
- Pick courses you can easily tack on miles.
